Treatment of STIs
Many STIs, e.g. chlamydia, are easy to treat with an antibiotic or cream. Other STIs, such as herpes and genital warts, are more difficult to treat and may never really resolve. Yet the symptoms can be treated adequately.
HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, cannot be cured. There are, however, effective treatments that can prevent you from becoming ill. The sooner you know that you are HIV-positive, the sooner you can start your anti-HIV treatment. A timely treatment start may enable you to live a long and healthy life with HIV. And by taking good care of yourself you decrease the risk of infecting others. So make sure to act quickly!
Conclusion: Keep yourself and your loved ones healthy. Get tested. Get treated!
