Compared to the indigenous Dutch population, HIV prevalence is rather high among migrant and ethnic minority communities. Even though migrants are increasingly being recognised as an important group in HIV prevention, treatment, care and support, little is known about how they live their daily lives. The book 'Facing HIV in the Netherlands. Lived experiences of migrants living with HIV' aims to bridge that gap.
